But that's only the theorical aspect of it...
ATICTAC or Academia Tamaulipeca de Investigación Científica y Tecnológica A.C. is offering a congress for science and technology, which if I could access to, would represent my first congress ever with possibilities of publishing a paper, one of my goals for this year before I graduate. I'll be working on Artificial Vision and hope to get something here for my Curriculum. From what I've seen successful researchers tend to have an impressive array of papers (just take a look at Aubrey De Grey's) where they further knowledge and share it for the world to make use of it, something which should be part of every Transhumanism in my humble opinion.
But that's only the theorical aspect of it...

Just wanted to get it set here and to prevent myself from forgetting. I've segregated my previous goal and modified "pass with good notes" to "become a fully fledged Mechatronics Engineer". I've segmented this year with the abilities any mechatronics engineer must have and will start studying the subjects on my own every afternoon until its complete. So far I've got one year to finish this. February-March. *Robotics. *Digital Control. * Thermodynamics. *Vibrations. *Calculus. *Circuit Analysis. April-May. *Analog Electronics. *Digital Electronics. *Vectorial Calculus. *Linear algebra. June-July. *Electric machines. *System modelling. *Differential Equations. *Numerical methods. August-September. *Classic control. Our good old mechatronic legs project. Life has been getting interesting these days. I'm inspired because we're getting new teammates on the mechatronic legs project, a rehab project we've been making for quite some time for the Creativity and Technology Contest from COTACYT. I've wanted to participate for quite some time and we managed to finally get to the National Contest last year and will be working in order to get to the International this one. Will try to get several projects done this year to get a higher chance at it but who knows. Also a business I'm working on must be established, I'm working alone this time as my only associate has left to get his notes straight. Not that I blame him, I also should be studying rather than actualizing the blog but oh well...:P Nothing like causing a BSOD while past a project deadline... And so I'm stuck with a BSOD or rather Linux's version which I've never seen until now. Still working on it but getting a rising stress as I find myself past my deadlines. Not that I regret it, as it was caused by family issues and I still believe I did the right thing. We'll see if I manage to fix it before Monday when all hell breaks loose. Also I read Leo Babauta's excellent blog on simplifying and am set on making my own zero clutter zone which is choosing one small space of the house, in my case the desk where I'm supposed to work but ends up filled with a load many things. |
